Blower Fan Resistor

Well after nearly 12 months of not being able to use my fav fan position number 2, I decided to do the homework and find out what was wrong. I have learnt about blower fan resistors and how easy they are to locate under the glove box, I seem to think they are easy to find because they are regularly replaced. Put mine on the multi meter and off to Holden spare parts I go and they would like $105 for the unit. So at least I know the most expensive it will be is $105

I have googled the part no 8973212730 etc and can not find any listings.

Any experiences or suggestions would be nice.
