Here is a paste of what iv'e got so far....
OK the Trooper won't start....... it keeps turning over and tries to start, but sounds like it's only trying to fire on a couple of cylinders. After 30 seconds it just seems to flood and smell of petrol. Have dis-connected the sensors on air intake and checked. Valve seems to be closing after ignition is turned off. Left it for an hour to let the petrol evaporate but still the same. Any ideas guys?

Raymond crank shaft or cam shaft sensor need to get it plugged into a diagnostics

Andy have scanned it with OBD2 and one code came up....P0122 which in the book says TPS/PEDAL POSITION SENSOR A CIRCUIT LOW INPUT. Cleared that and no more fault codes. Still not starting....?

Andy yep.....had all coil packs off one by one. Had plugs out, just getting wet. closed off the intake with some cling-film and nout. jUST KEEPS STINKING OF PETROL.....

Andy no fuel leak, fuel pumping through.....

Andy pure vapour coming through the valves and can smell it out of the exhaust.....

Donald Disconnect pump live see if it fires when burning off, when were plugs last replaced?

Andy plugs would still fire on 5, 4, 3....would the pump over-fuel?

Andy as if the timming was advanced/retarded.....occasionally back fires when you shut down, either back or up through the air intake....
