Hi to one and all, I have a 97 3.2 v6 Jackaroo which is causing me a few problems in the head and wallet. I have had a few probs with it since I brought it 6 months ago so serviced it changed all that your suppose to and more even the timing belt which was a few degrees out which solved a major lack of power. Now having travelled from Kalgoorlie to Bunbury I have another problem theres plenty of revs which is rather flat but its done nearly 300,000 ks but when going up a hill it really struggles, loses power so I have to change down (its a manual by the way) BUT when I ease off the throttle which is now on the floor it appears to pick up slightly plus it now drinks a lot of petrol which is not good for my health.
It appears to be a fuel problem but who knows, so you 4 wheel drive experts your help is needed, many thanks for any responce.
Regards to all Ian Warren
Further to this is that when it struggles up a hill and I floor the throttle theres a slight vibration or hesitation.
