Wonder if any owners in Ozland can throw a bit of light on my trucks (ute?) problem. I have a 2010 D-Max 3.0 auto, it's LHD as it was built for Italy but that shouldn't be an issue. I bought and fitted a set of freewheel front hubs and when front drive is diconnected there's a light tapping sound at transmission speed when driving, it goes away if freewheel hubs are engaged, I can confirm that the drive shafts are totally disconnected in the free position and that the front prop shaft rotates freely. Had a couple of Toyota Hiluxs' for seven years prior to this truck and fitted front freewheel hubs to those with no probs other than routeen servicing. Do all of the servicing myself as Isuzu pickups (utes) are hens teeth in Bulgaria. To put it in perspective it has done a couple of 6000 Km round trips to the UK and back with no problems and am lining up another trip when the snow goes. So any adjustments I have missed? 4x4 works fine when required btw.
