Hey guys, great forum with lots of info and how to's so I hope some one can advise me on my Jacks problem.
I bought a 1998 Holden Jackaroo 3.0 TD manual without being able to drive it as it had blown a turbo seal.
I replaced the turbo and now it idles smooth, and drives beautifully for the first 2kms. Then it starts blowing a lot of white smoke. At traffic lights the smoke subsides but starts again when I drive off.
I took it on a drive for an hour drive including traffic lights and 100kmh freeway driving. The temp gauge crept up to over half way but not two thirds.
It has a 3 new oil pumps and a new ORPS in the last 12 months and there doesn't appear to be water in the oil or diesel in the radiator.
Does this sound like injectors or timing, or am I in for an expensive repair to the head.
Thanks
Chris
