Slow Start Cold, Extremely Slow start Hot if at all.

Hi Guys

Been trying all the tips on this site, which i'm finding a great read. However im still getting nowhere fast at the moment

Im getting on a cold start 5-8 seconds till it fires. nice solid start once it tries

When hot im getting the odd cracking speedup (without properly starting, then down again, sometimes it will fire after 30+ seconds consistent cranking, with a super tiny single squirt of crc engine start it fires instant.

Low pressure oil input feed to HP Pump is 25 psi

I have had a oil pressure gauge on the HP Pump and it mimicked the ORPS (via a tech 2 at local dealer). both low (under 300 psi).

New pump fitted. now seeing over 480 psi (end of gauge is 480 + about 100psi id say past).

it did take 8 seconds before it hit that pressure, And it was dropping after I stopped cranking back to 70 psi. (not sure it this is normal), When hot oil same results.

Tired the white wire, No difference. Runs ruff idle with cut.

RPCV has been cleaned out with no difference, also I changed with another with same results.

Once running idle is high after it revs over 1500 ish rpm, it then stays higher rpm (900) and eventually lowers back to normal at a random interval (at least 2mins)

If running, then I quickly turn off, then instantly start her again, nice start. If I wait 10 seconds.... no go.

Once running shes perfect running, Have done a trip (600km) with the current symptoms ad didnt miss a beat, Untll the dreaded restart, 2 Keys solved this mostly smile.png

New Battery, No difference

New genuine oil filters, No Diffrence

fuel is flowing good, I even tired adding a electric pump inline to make sure.

New oil seals in sump

No ECU codes

Oil is HPR5

New Harness Recently (30,000)

New ORPS Recently (30,000)

Im wondering if the oil is suppose to lose pressure when you turn the key off?

Otherwise I haven't checked the low pressure valves.

Really hoping there is an expert here that knows / seen this same behaviour and can tell me how to fix smile.png, I can take this to plug into a tech 2 again, however they where very lost with what they are looking at... .and I cannot borrow it -i tried smile.png

Thanks Guys

Steven
