Does anyone know what the thread size is for the Oil pressure sender that lies on the engine oil cooler? From what I understand it’s either 1/4 NPT (BSP) or M14 x 1.25.
The reason for asking is that the dash gauge sometimes shows very low engine oil pressure, around 0.5~2.0 bar at idle instead of the normal 3.5~4.0 bar and I want to fit an aftermarket gauge in tandem via a ‘T’ piece so that I can see if it’s really the oil pressure that’s low or the dash gauge that’s acting up.
BTW, anyone looking for a Holden replacement will need to order P/N 97163851 and be prepared to fork out northwards of $250, even at trade price.![Posted Image]()
