Hi, i hope someone can please help me! I have bought an isuzu rodeo denver sport 09 plate as a 'fixer upper'. Everything fine until i took the gearbox out, had it reconned, then put it back in. Now i cant get 4wd. I took the car to a dealers and they said they were 'summising' that it was a faulty actuator (on the gearbox) and wanted £700 to replace it but couldnt 'guarantee' that it would fix the problem!! As it had been working fine before i removed the gearbox i wasnt convinced this was correct. My friend also has a rodeo so i decided to remove the actuator off his rodeo and fit mine to it to see if it actually was the problem. It didnt work so i put his actuator back and now his rodeo wont go into 4wd either!!! What have i done???
There was no noise coming from the actuator when pressing the 4wd button and it is now only 'spinning' in one direction. I cannot understand how i could have harmed it by just removing it???
HELP!!!!!
(3 button reset doesnt work)
