Hi
Decided to upgrade engine (4JX1) ventilation and didn't like any of suggested solutions like racing catch can or anything else. After some research of how its done at the other cars liked the idea of BMW oil and air separation unit, but didnt liked the price. Extra research shows that exact copy of this is used at Chery cars (looks like an attempt to copy BMW ) with a nice price of about $25 at aliexpress
Bottom end was blocked with a cheapest fuel filter (other $3) and the bottom of the filter was blocked by a screw, so when the filter will be full of separated oil I'll just replace it.
Custom made bracket was manufactured in 10 min and fitted under the original bracket holding wiring connector to the injectors at the throttle body.
Outgoing hose with 2 bends coming around throttle body was in a kit with oil separator, incoming one I take from wrecked car. Original hose will fit between the engine and separator, but I decide to leave it uncut in case of this experiment fail.
1- Oil separator
2- Fuel filter used as a tank for the separated oil
Cheers
