Wow, what a ride...
As of about an hour ago, put in the two new injectors to replace the ones that failed.
I then.. uh.. left a bit of oil in one of the cylinders and turned it over, but the starter motor bailed out, and the engine rolled back.
Crap. I thought i had drained all of the oil, but there was some left.
It didnt make any funny noises though, and never got actually started. Maybe 30-40 degrees before it locked?
I hope nothing bad has happened, i dont want to ventilate the block, but the engine sounds good.
So yea, new sleeve seals, two new injectors, one new injector coil, new water pump and gaskets, new coolant, new fuel filter, new clutch, friction plate and flywheel, and new brakes and disks.. and we have a working jack!!
Apart from the turbo lag, damn these things PULL. No wonder they are used for towing duties. holy crap. Forces you back in the seat.
Thanks to this forum the wife is happy, and im happy. I am still aiming to get the oil spinner filter though as its just common sense to filter your oil better.
