Jackaroo automatic test

For all of you who have automatic gearboxes, be it a V6 petrol or 4JX1 diesel powered vehicle, can you please take some notice of the following- when you reach 80kph, the torque converter is supposed to lock up (providing you are not accelerating very hard). There should be a notable drop in RPM. When this has happened, can you take note of how many RPM is now indicated by the tachometer?
Is the lock up smooth?
