I have several issues with my 2001 Frontera that I would like to fix but the cost of buying parts from a wrecker makes it inhibitive.
- only have 1 key
- ignition barrel is shagged
- driver can't control passenger windows ( electronics shagged)
- broken grill
- broken sun visor
- carpets
- drivers seat
Additional items I'd like to fix:
- fog light switch
- switch blanking plate
- windscreen wiper bottle
My proposal is for members of the forum to pool our resources, purchase a 2nd hand frontera and wreck it between ourselves. I would suggest that each member's requirements for parts be clearly documented prior to purchase and that the costs be split based on percentage cost of parts.
I have seen several Frontera's selling for $500 lately but the cost of transport back to Canberra makes the deal uneconomical for me.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
