Hi all.
i recently have cheaply aquired a 2001 V6, 3.5lt Jackaroo SE, everything is good except the transmission, only have 1st and reverse gear.
all the read ups surggest a rebuild of the trans is the only option. but at a cost of $3000+, its not worth my time.
so... im thinking of doing a conversion to a manual. i have a 98 V6 doner Jack with engine issues, so theoreticly i should have all parts nessasary to complete this task,
except a new clutch of course.
- is there a post on here the specifies on how to go about doing this conversion?
- what do i need to look out for?
- do i really need to change the computer over or is there a cheat for it. i know the engine light would come on as it wont detect any gear changes for a start.
