I require a new turbo, but before just bying one, I like to ask what other members have done.
With the little bit of homework I've already done, I can probably answer my own question but still
want to hear what others have decided to do.
The turbo failed due to no engine oil pressure as the longer oil pickup had broken.
To get mine going again, I will need the following
1. New impellers
2. New seal and bearing kit, and balance.
The options available are.
1. New Turbo, complete, but which is recommended?
2. Cartridge only, and the assumption is that they are already balanced.
3. Get a Donor impellers and new seal and bearing kit.
4. Get a donor turbo with good impellers and fit new seal and bearing kit.
