Hi team!
Looking for a hand with an issue on my 04 3.0L ITD Rodeo
So driving home from work last week, car started dropping revs in and out. I put in a long range tank a few months back and hadn’t changed the fuel filter so i put it down to that. Filter was full of water and ###### so i thought that was the problem. Put the new one in with some fuel, it took a while to get going but eventually after cracking the injectors (and after priming that useless primer) the old girl kicked over!!
Next morning for work started her up sweet, drove to work no dramas. That arvo car wouldnt start. Had to pump the primer again. Got it going and drove home fine. Then drove to a mates for beers, played up on the way and now its STUCK THERE!
Tried to kick it over for about 2 hours the other day. Ran my dual batteries dead. Have cracked the injectors and there is fuel there but she doesnt even sound like she wants to start!
Has anyone got any idea why it would run fine one day and not the next? I was thinking maybe the diaphragm on the primer is ###### so when its sits there for a while air could get back in the line. I am hoping it is not the inject pump that has F##ked out because I just emailed info@dieselject.com.au and got quoted $2500 for a new pump!!!!!!!!!
