Dear All,
I am still struggling along without answers. The car is still missing and without power.
Thanks again to my new friend Sergey who stopped off in Newcastle to have a look at the beast.
I am starting to lean towards a fuel/fuel primer/fuel line issue, but I am trying to learn more and get some time off to fully check.
A couple of questions.
1. After continuous priming on the fuel primer, should it reach a point where the pressure increase in fuel stops you priming anymore? Mine doesn't.
2. Is it much of a job to pull the fuel tank off and check any possible causes of a lack of fuel?
3. Other than air getting in the lines, is there anything along the fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter that could be reducing the flow of diesel?
4. How does one check the Fuel pump behind the High Pressure Oil Pump thingo?
5. Can the pipes from the Fuel Filter to the engine become blocked?
Would love any thoughts.
John
