Hello all,
I guess this is a fairly common problem. But I've looked over the past topics and can't see my symptoms (exactly).
I have copious amounts of white smoke (acrid smelling) at start up and a reluctance to build the revs up. It feels like over-fuelling to me.
Once I get her rolling and she "clears her throat", all is fine. No smoke and drives smoothly after a short run (say 500 metres).
Am not losing coolant. The coolant is not contaminated.
Am not losing oil (Penrite HPR Diesel 5). The oil in the sump is not contaminated.
ORPS, harness, ITP sensor and Glo-plugs all replaced in recent years.
I feel that a sensor is not doing its job. If so, which is the most likely?
All suggestions appreciated.
