2004 ra rodeo 4jh1. I have a intermittent ABS LIGHT appearing. It can occur at start up some times or when driving along. It will also come on sometimes when I make the abs work on a dirt road. I have read the codes and it is lodging a C0244 code (FR dump solenoid shorting to Battery). I have checked all wiring and earths with no faults found. Everything leads the ABS module and hydraulic control unit (obviously the complete abs unit). This unit has a retail of around $3000 (I will of course be investigating second hand units). With the cost of the unit I obviously want to have all basis covered. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so what solutions?
