Our Jackeroo's 6VE1 has finally doen the death rattle. Looking to renew it. Thing is wreckers want $3k for an engine with 175k. Rebuild looking at $5.5K and two weeks with engine out. I have found them new as a crate motor for $5K but its out of a 03-06 rodeo. Question - does any one know what differences I should expect with that engine to my Jackeroo98 auto 6VE1. I happy to change sumps etc but what else?
