Recently my car blew the plastic heater pipe and i cooked my head gaskets ...DOH ! So i stripped her down and had my heads straightened, resurfaced, re valved and new guides installed... ( cost heaps too )
I re installed the heads, new water pump, new rad, new timing belt etc etc..... BUT .. she turns over and doesnt run ! I aligned my crank, cam pulleys as per the marks before pulling the heads, re installed in the same positions so i am pretty sure my timing is good.... just a side point.. i did notice that the #2 cylinder was at TDC with said marks aligned.. is this right ? I have spark, pressure in my fuel line, new plugs, leads and all the connections look good ..fuses not blown... i have spent many hours doing this job in my driveway , and i am not a mechanic :-) ..... any help with this would be awesome, as i am keen to drive it again ...
PS.. i have just bought a Diagnostic device on ebay, and hope to use this to" Id" any error codes ( my check eng light is on )
