Hi All, looking for some more advise.
I have recently replaced the injector sleeve seals. It was very successful thanks to this site.
The new problems started this week with the CEL coming on and off during driving. Then a couple of random lack of throttle response but this cleared, parked up and tried to start the next day.
Very hard to start, cranked for a couple of minutes in total till it needed a jump start.
Continued cranking as I could hear it was trying to start. Finally started and was able to rev it up over 3000rpm, sounded fine.
When returned to idle, engine would not idle smoothly with bucket loads of white/grey smoke. With some throttle the engine will not exceed 1500rpm (very rough) lots more smoke.
Plugged in my el cheapo OBD11 reader and the only code I get is C3500. I have tried also to read codes flashed out by jumping pin 4 & 6 but nothing.
Checked coolant, no signs of smell of diesel
Checked oil, no signs of coolant or fuel
Checked throttle body butterfly flap closes when ignition turned off then opens (does nothing when ignition turned on, stays open)
Maybe I need to cut the white wire for the orps? have changed this in the past.
Any help would be great. I am at Gymea
