I have posted numerous posts, mostly asking for help, adding that most of my posts are asking for assistance rather than providing advice
Jessie just does not want to behave.
Currently I feel like a complete moron as I cannot take a trick with the bloody thing.
I have had an ongoing issue with the car (see previous posts ------ ? missing/stuttering/no power)
I have done everything I can think off.
1. Changed the ORPS. Rechecked it with the white wire trick and the car completely stalled.
2. New wire Harness
3. New rocker cover gasket
4. Oil and Filter change ( 5w30)
5. Checked oil pick up pipes which were fantastic. ( much stronger bracing which either means done previously or the 2003 model is different which seems the case in lots of things, like the throttle thingo positioning and makeup.
6. No new flash code errors apart from the old "66" meaning the glow plug relay circuit.
7. Had Holden do TECH 2 test before I attempted anything which showed nothing
8. Had a mate (mechanic) do his computer testing which showed injectors were OK.
9. Whilst changing ORPS and bear with me, my son and I were unable to undo the ORPS with the 9/16 spanner previously described, all we achieved was to burr the nut. My ORPS turned out to be a 14mm spanner. (2003 model). We had specially prepared the 9/16 spanner by filling off the edges. So unable to undo the ORPS, we, mixed with frustration and fear. undid the oil rail and injectors to remove it all and change the ORPS. Not listening to the forum, we undid the injectors individually and panicked when the oil went everywhere. Quickly grabbing the injectors, my son and I disagreed about the order so the injectors may have been mixed up.
10. All the oil that leaked into the seals was removed.
11. I installed the injectors with the H clamps and bolts exactly as the manual described with the correct torsion.
12. The car now starts OK, the idle is a bit rough but going, however there is the continuing misfiring/no power/stuttering as before. I will say tho, it seems different to when I started, it really seems down on power, more so than before. There does not appear to be excessive smoke from the exhaust.
13. The ROPCV has been removed and cleaned.
So summing up, The injectors may be out of order. The ORPS, wire harness and gasket is new. There appears to be plenty of fuel. There is no diesel in the coolant. The fuel tank appears to contain only diesel with no water. The oil pick up pipes are OK. The exhaust has no blockages. The correct oil and filters have been installed.
I understand it may now be the injectors but please any advice will help. Please if you read this take your time as it is the worlds longest post. I am at the end of my tether and knowledge and ready to give up.
Any help would be appreciated,
Cheers,
John
