Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with oil pressure in the 3.5 petrol Jacks.?
I have had, on several occasions noticed the oil pressure getting very low.(dash gauge showing 2)
Normally it sits around 5-6.
Revs and temperature don't seem to form a pattern.
Did read somewhere the 3.5 petrol Rodeos had numerous engine failures, caused by oil starvation.
Something to do with oil pick up in sump being clogged up.
I have had the vehicle serviced by the dealer since new. (almost 150,000kms now on the clock.)
Have booked the vehicle in for the 150,000km service and have asked for sump to be dropped and oil pick up to be checked.
Is the pressure drop normal ?
