Fast Idle when clutch in

HI, has anyone experienced a fast idle when you depress clutch? My issue occurring intermittently only but when it starts it hangs around for a day or two then can stop for a few days etc. No particular trigger for it.

Normal idle - 750 revs, when fast it fluctuates 1500-2500 and can move in that range while sitting at traffic lights.
