4JX1 Manual of Fixes from Contributers

Hi,

I have had a Jackaroo for over 32 years, purchasing one of the original two door editions, but although a trip to Cape York [8000km over 6 weeks] last year and back [new donk 15K ago], burning no oil, and decidely noisy, no air, no 5th gear, opted for a 2002 4JX1.

Have been reading up the problems here, but not concerned as vehicle is great to drive and will be more economical than the 16l/100km petrol version.

I have been gathering these together, which is a work in progress. I aim to get and edit all the comments and attach version 1. Thanks in advance to all the authors.

I will try to edit into a readable form and hope it forms a reasonable resource and put in all the diagrams.

If anyone has some useful and edited comments, I am happy to add to the resource.
