I am led to believe that the Isuzu D-Max and the Holden Colorado are built by Isuzu in the same factory in Thailand. Apart from the Colorado having a 2.8 L motor and the D-Max a 3 L motor, how different are they?
How different are the motors? They seem to be very similar in performance. Is the 2.8 just an older (and cheaper) version?
Do they have the same transmission, transfer case and axles? And who makes those?
Looking at the vehicles side by side, the differences seem to be in the trim and the options added to the basic vehicle.
