My daughters Jack is blowing smoke and missing badly. She recently ran out of fuel and I suspected the need for a new fuel filter however the first thing I checked were the spark plugs and I found to my horror that one plug had disintegrated with the core completely missing and the rubber boot on the coil has also disappeared with just a metal rod showing that appears damaged/worn on the end. (see pic)
Any advice is welcome as to what damage may have been caused to the engine and suggested remedies.
How do I detach the coil from the wiring harness? I have tried prising it with a screwdriver without success.
Where may I source a replacement coil?
I've sent an email off to a wreckers line.
