I have a 03 RA diesel rodeo with a 05 motor in it. It has been running perfect until the other night. I work night shift, and was driving home around 2am, sitting on around 105 kph and the engine light comes on for about 6-8 seconds then goes off, when the light comes on, I lose the ability the accelerate. Nothing else is affected. The weird thing is that it has been doing this for the past two weeks but only at night, I have driven it in the day time and no problems, even towed our camper trailer on a 800klm round trip and no dramas. It is only happening at night, two or three times a night during a thirty klm trip. I have spoken to our mechanics at work and they have no idea other than take it to holden, a suggestion that I would like to not follow through with . If any one has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
